Dear Young Professionals,

On behalf of the Society of Petroleum Engineers-Saudi Arabia Section, I’m pleased to welcome you to the 2010 Young Professionals Technical Symposium. Over the past two years, the YP Technical Symposium has been a premier event that’s devoted to provide young professionals with knowledge, experience, and networking opportunities. 

Building on the success of the previous YP symposia, the program committee has worked diligently to bring you an exceptional event this year under the broad theme “Infinite Potential.” The theme demonstrates the unlimited boundaries for young professionals’ motivations, contributions, and achievements. 

The 2010 symposium program covers a broad range of topics with distinguished speakers, technical presentations, posters, and workshops, each of which is carefully selected to provide young professionals with opportunities to discuss topics of interest, exchange experiences, and get updated on the latest technologies and innovations. The symposium also features a panel discussion on professional development, an important subject for young professionals to achieve career excellence and success. The panel brings together experts to share their thoughts on training and development. I encourage all to participate and effectively contribute to the panel discussion by sharing your thoughts and questions.
