SPE SAS has won the President's Award for Section Excellence for the second consecutive year, a feat that is particularly difficult to achieve.
In addition, the section has won the Society;s 2009 Membership Award, which recognizes the fatest growing SPE sections in the world. SPE SAS was the winner of group F (composed od sections with over 1000 members). Over the period from 9/1/08 - 8/31/09, SPE SAS was the fastest growing large section in the world. During that period, the section added over 450 new members to reach a total membership of 2091.
Congratulations and thanks are in order for the current and past section officers, wolunteers, and members who participate in so many section activities and initiatives, and to the companies who make funds available and support their staff in giving their time to SPE. WELL DONE!
