JPT FOR STUDENTS
SPE student members will receive their JPT subscriptions electronically. You will receive JPT Online as part of your annual student membership benefits. Additionally, 12 months of back issues are available online for continual reference. To view the current issue or access back issues, go to www.spe.org/jpt. JPT Online also offers free access to full technical papers that are summarized in the print version of JPT. To download full technical papers, you should have your SPE member number and password available and follow the instructions when asked to log in. You may set up your password through the “Members Only" section of the SPE Web site at www.spe.org.
Your SPE student chapter faculty advisor will receive 10 print copies of each issue of JPT, which may be used for a chapter reference resource. If you feel you will need to continue to receive the print version of JPT by mail, you may do so without charge for calendar year 2004 by submitting a request to service@spe.org. SPE student members may receive subscriptions to the print version of JPT for U.S. $5 per year.
This new arrangement allows you to access the magazine's content, which is posted online on the first of each month, without waiting for often unreliable postal delivery or worrying about change of address notifications. JPT Online is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
